The meeting discussed the challenges facing the Solidarity Center in the context of major changes that are characterizing Brazil and therefore Tamandaré. The hungry children of the favela to satisfy hunger is no longer just food but increasingly in culture and human and Christian values​​. Nicoletta Ciapponi, coordinator of the Italian volunteers who want to do a trial period at the Solidarity Center in Tamandaré, has met on June 11 the group of six volunteers who will leave at different times, for Brazil in the second half of 2011.
